One of the key contributors to the Z650RS’ light weight (noticeable as soon as the bike is lifted off its sidestand) is its innovative trellis frame. Weighing 13.5 kg, it contributes significantly to the bike’s light, natural handling.

When opening the throttle, riders will notice a smooth and powerful engine character offering both a high level of control when making minute throttle adjustments and a gratifying rush of acceleration in the lower rpm ranges.
Dual ø300 mm front disc brakes and ø220 mm rear deliver plenty of braking power. The round discs contribute to the bike’s retro sport image.
